Adjustable width to fit a wide variety of car seat sizes. The side pillows also swivel up and down individually to accommodate children (and adults) of various heights, and different sleeping positions. This also allows the side pillows to be stored out of the way when not in use, making it easier to get in and out of the seat.

Hans is safety conscious, a characteristic we all hope our babies and ourselves never have to need... but its comforting to know it's there. Hans has been tested by an independent third party for performance during a crash. Note that Hans is not suitable for very small children who require a rear-facing seat, since Hans uses the car's headrest as an attachment point. Hans becomes suitable for  children when they are of a size, weight and age that allows them to start using a forward-facing seat (depending on seat design) or a booster seat. Regulations vary from country to country on when that is allowable. For example, here is the recommendation of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) in the U.S.. Hans is of course suitable for normal sized adults.

Hans is available in two high-quality finishes to complement your vehicle's interior: rich Vegan Leather, and soft Woven Polyester Cloth, both available in a selection of colours, so it's easy to elegantly match or complement your vehicle interior. The filling is an odor-free, safe, synthetic memory foam, of the same type used in car seats, mattresses and pillows.
